Lake Erie Meets Vegetation Along Presque Isle

Wasn’t there some beach here before? That was my thought as I took this picture of a tree hanging over what is now water along Presque Isle's shoreline. The sandbar is rapidly changing and in only a few short years a beach that was, is no more. In order to get to the sandy reaches beyond I had to take a trail, or otherwise climb around driftwood and thick vegetation.
