Setting Sun's Light Against Lake Somerset's Shoreline

Featured is an evening view at Lake Somerset with a setting October sun casting light against the autumn colored vegetation along the shoreline. The lake is a 253-acre man-made reservoir just north of the Somerset City limits, in the heart of Somerset County, Pennsylvania, popular with anglers from around the region. The low angle of an October sun can make for some spectacular, albeit fleeting, scenes just before sunset. Moments later the gold cast against the vegetation quickly gave way to a dark blue hue.
