Pictured, at over 10,000 feet along Route 160 in southwestern Colorado, is a portion of the San Juan National Forest. In the background is one of the San Juan Mountains with snow fields along its cliff side above the tree line in early June. I believe this mountain is over 13,000 feet in elevation, but could possibly be over 14,000. Subjects featured:San Juan Mountains;
