Warm glow of a setting October Sun enhances the color of a large stand of Red Pines clustered thickly and reflecting in the waters of Lower Hereford Manor Lake in easternmost Beaver County, Pennsylvania. This PA Fish and Game Commission park is an oasis of great natural beauty in an area largely devoid of it. The aged dam holding back the waters of this lake can be seen at the shoreline in the picture's right. This was one of the last pictures I took after several hours of photographing the lakes in peak autumn condition.
