Pink granite boulders are sparkling in the evening sun along Jordan Pond's shore in Acadia National Park, Maine with the Bubbles seen in the distant background. Picturesque ponds, pink granite rock, and sea side mountains make for a captivating experience for outdoor enthusiasts and are what drew me to Acadia. I took this photograph after descending down Pemetic Mountain that can be seen in the photo's right side. Hikers receive a great reward in scenery at Acadia National Park, with its bald mountains yielding an unforgettable view of the distant mountains, ponds, islands, coastline, and the ocean.
