Purchasing a license for web site or print use?
Web Site License For Use
Looking for a photograph to use on your web site? You can purchase a license to use one from michaelmccumber.com. Here are the details:
- License is for one web site only (i.e. http://www.yoursite.com).
- A license will be emailed to you.
- License term is for the life of your web site. Your web site address must be included in your order for inclusion on the license.
- A high-resolution file of the photograph will be sent to you (tiff format).
- At the footer, in fine print, or wherever appropriate, should be a small note indicating the photograph is copyright protected (i.e. Photograph ©2004 michaelmccumber.com). This doesn't have to be linked. Photograph doesn't have to be mentioned if the copyright statement is near the photograph.
- You can alter the photograph however you see fit. It may be cropped, skewed, etc.
Michael D. McCumber retains the copyright ownership of the photograph. This is merely a purchase of a license for use.
Print Publication License For Use
Looking for a photograph to use in a print publication? You can purchase a license to use one from michaelmccumber.com. Here are the details:
- License is for one publication only (i.e. print brochure, newspaper, magazine booklet, etc)
- License is for only one issue or version (i.e. July issue)
- A license will be emailed to you
- License term is for the life of your publication, and includes the right to produce an unlimited number of printed copies.
- License is NOT for printing and distributing the picture (i.e. as a postcard, individual photograph, etc). The picture must be included within a broader publication.
- A high resolution file of the photograph will be sent to you (tiff format)
- At the footer, in fine print, or wherever appropriate, should be a small note indicating the photograph is copyright protected (i.e. Photograph ©2004 michaelmccumber.com)
